Set of 4 cork-backed coasters printed with images from a variety of the original pieces I have completed over the years that feature poppy flowers. Originally developed as a lesson in layering a background for reverse painting to "find" a focal image, these flowers are so much fun to create. Revers painting blues over the layers of reds allows for the warmth of the reds to peek through, giving rich color and depth to each piece. Even in their simplicity, each flower is full of color and pattern so unique to mixed media art!
